TO Mr Lookforward,

i am on spouse visa due to apply for ILR on or after the 9th June 2014, my spouse visa was granted on the 4th July 2012 and i arrived to UK on 6th July ,

My wife start claiming working and child tax credit after i arrived to UK she made claim on join name but informed HMRV that i am subject to immigration and am not allowed  to any public funds, recently we have received letter from tax saying that we have overpayment of £5000! now they stoped paying working tax credit and start taking money from child tax credit ,

would working tax credit overpayment affect my ILR???

also my wife took maternity leave for one year she was due to go back to work this month but we  hesitating as the cost of the nursery is to high ,

will it afftect my ilr if she dont go back to work?

i am working full time , we pay full rent and council tax

the only benefit my wife claiming is child benefit  and child tax credit she was claiming working tax credit but they stoped it as our income was more the £18000 a year,

NOTE: my wife received Statuary Maternity Allowance as her work refused to pay her maternity leave, but that was only for 39 weeks now it stoped

any advice ?

many thanks
