im working in the UK on work permit, my first work permit was approved on the 20th August 2002 for five years then after one year i changed my empoyler and my 2nd work permit was issued on 18th of july 2003 for four years, my question is can i apply for ILR before the expiry of my 2nd work permit which is 18th july 2007. I have passed my life in the uk test. if i cant apply before 18th july then i wiil be need another work permit.

As long as u have been on work permit for  five or 4yrs 11months,ishould think u can apply with the count down from your first work permit.
