retake the new test if you have passed current one

Does anyone know if you will be asked to retake the new test which is being introduced in autumn if you have recently passed the current one ? I'm hoping to apply for naturalization in December.

Once passed, you never have to do such test again. I have passed mine already but haven't qualified for naturalisation yet. But according to UKBA, my current pass certificate can be used for future applications. Hope this helps - Rex
