Hi, I am in the middle of applying for British Citizenship. I am from Hungary. Moved to England in 2005. At my first work place I registered at WRS but I was working there only 5 month. After that I wasnt registered in the next 3 work place till august 2009. From there I was registered again for 3 month and in the next year 9 month in a different workplace. I`ve never been registered 1 year in a row. Can I still apply for Neutralization? Thank you Dezso

The Worker Registration Scheme, which allowed nationals of the 8 countries which joined the EU in 2004 to work in the UK, is no longer in place as of April 2011. Per EU rules of accession, the transitional arrangements under which the Worker Registration Scheme were based expired after 7 years. Citizens of Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia can live and work in the UK under the same rules as other citizens of other EU member states. have you done the life uk test?
