Dear Sir/madam,
I have passed my life in UK test an year ago, however nearer to the point of passing my exam,I had a traffic offence whereby I accidentally went through red traffic lights and went for a court appeal and was finally awarded 200 pounds fine.Does this offence stand in way of me able to apply for the citizenship ? If so is there a specific lenght of time that i need to wait before applying for the same.

Kind Regards,
Pavan.

Yes it surely does effect your naturalisation.
You were convicted and fined in court. Fines attract a five years rehabilitation period from the date of conviction.
Any application you make before this time is up is bound to fail. Basically no point in applying until 5 years have passed from the date you were convicted in court.
