Hi, we took our life in the uk tests 3 weeks ago and can only now apply for citizenship due to finacial constraints. Saved up £1,010 for the fees for both myself and the wife only to discover that as from today the fees have gone up to £1,294. I wonder how any organisation can justify increasing fees by 22% at any one stage. The unfair thing is is that there is absolutely nothing we can about it. This is probably going to hurt us for a long time. But I know what they will say, if you cannot pay go home. Easier said than done.
