I have applied for ILR on 7th May 2009 and the money is been withdrawn from my bank on 15th May 2009 . How long does the Home Office take to give dissicion and do they send any acknowledgement letter telling us that they are doing our case.

You had said you've filled out the wrong form and sent the wrong payment, didn't you? Was that problem sorted out?

No, they don't send any acknowledgement for ILR applications. You should keep waiting. My friend's case was the same as yours. She applied 1st March and granted her ILR on 30th April.
