All depende on ur cirumstances. I have to apply for ILR but I am very clear to file my case myself. If u got every thing clear u dont need to go throigh a solicitor. U can go on uk border website. all information is there. can contact me for guidance.

Its not a requirement for you to have a solicitor for ILR applications. But if you are not that clued up about immigration stuff, then I would suggest that you get application checked by a good immigration advisor.
