Hi there

I am about to apply for naturalisation. However, I have a Fixed Penalty Notice for failure to pay a bus fare. While I'm aware that the regulations state that you do not have to give details of a FPN if they have not been given in court. I am unsure if my FPN was issued in court. I was away on holiday when a letter came through the post summoning me to appear in court. So, when I got back, I paid the fine immediately. I am assuming this means the FPN was issued in court and I need to declare it?

Or, should I wait for 5 years until it is 'discharged' Is this counted as an offence involving dishonesty which are not classified as minor offenses?

Any responses greatly appreciated.
