Hi all,

So I have recently been told by somebody who helps people pass the citizenship test that I may not need to take the test because I have been living in the UK for 25 years now and in that time I have taken courses in ESOL 1&2 and have also done numerous computer courses at my local college.

He advised me that it was worth me asking the college to write me a confirmation letter signed my the head of the college stating that I have successful passed English courses and is confident that I would not need to take the life in the UK test.

However I was a little skeptical whether this was true or not so thought I would confirm this here and see if anybody else has been told anything similar, or has actually sent a certified letter to the home office on this subject?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Raman
