I was born in Canada and adopted by British mother and father returning to the uk in 1968 . I have lived in the UK for 44 years went to school voted pay tax employ 200 people and have various UK registered businesses.

I have birth certificate, adoption certificate, parents UK birth certificate, marriage certificate, my British parents passport from 1968 with me added as an infant and my name stamped on page 11 by the British high commissioner in Ottawa.

I travel on Canadian passport with "given indefinate leave to enter UK"

Can I qualify for a UK passport?
