Dear all,

I am applying for spouse visa from outside the Uk soon. All our requirements are met , but I suddenly remembered that seven years ago, when I was in the UK legally, with work permit but no recourse to public funds, I used to get Working Tax credit. I really can not understand how I was entitled to WTC in the first place, ? I have National insurance number and the VISA4UK online form asks about it and I surely I will be giving the number.
So my question is :

1. By providing my NI number, will UKBA carry out checks with HMRC of some seven years back employment?
2.If they do check, will they see my WTC histoty?
3. Will it affect negatively to my application?

Please advise. I really need it!
