As I understand they will need to sign your application form for citizenship. The form has since changed so you need an active referee who can vouch for your character. Friend would be nice.  I used my neighbour and a family friend.

Yeah I have two friends that have known me a long time. Do we have to use an original form or can we just download it from the internet? (which is what I have done). I have resent the referee page to my friends and hope to send the form off next week.

Out of curiosity does anyone know how recent the referees letters have to be? I have mine from Sep/05. Would they still be valid??
