I would have provided an answer if you had given all information yesterday. Information important here is what is your native language and does it need to be translated for home offic epurpose or not.  I certainly don't know your native language and with your name I can't really tell where you are from.

First you should check with Home Office if you need to translate them or they can accept them in your native language. Most Indian and Pakistani languages are not a problem for Home office and they will be able to suggest you a good place to translate if they so needed.

Second place should be your native country's Embassy or consulate. Before you pay someone you should try your own embassy first because you may pay someone and home office may not accept thattranslation but they certainly cannot refuse consulate's or embassy translation.

I cleared my test yesterday. My marriage certiciate and Child's birth certificate are in Hindi language. Home office say that they need it translated. I did not know that Indian Embassy/consulate does translation also.

Also does the trasnlation alse need to be notorised by a Notary ?

I also want to apply for the citizenship for my kids alongwith me.  My kid's birth are in my local language and I want them to be translated into English and then to certify that.

Can anybody tell me where to go for this in and around Hounslow ? And roughly how much it will cost me ?
