Hi Bindu,

I think you misread the question. We state "The candidates for the Parliament must be nominated by political parties, and individual independent candidates are not allowed". According to the British Constitution individual candidates are allowed so the statement we made in our quiz is wrong and answer should be FALSE.

Dear Sir,

I had gone through one question in BRITISH CONSTITUTION that is,The candidates for the Parliament must be nominated by political parties and individual independant candidate are not allowed. According to the course answer this statement is false. But when I read the chapter in Life in UK ,the individual independant candidate also included.Kindly correct me.

With many thanks,

                                                             Bindu Binu.
