Hi everyone,


Can someone kindly explain to me if at the time of applying for ILR my spouse who is a british citizen has been unemployed for about five months while taking care of our baby, but am working fulltime how does this negatively affect my ILR application.

Hi, your application for ILR will not be affected as you are working full time and you are not on benefits. Your spouse has the rights to take care of the baby. You will be eligible for ILR in the United Kingdom as you are the spouse of a British citizen.
