it's valid forever..Just dont loose it..or you'll have to take the test again

Hi Guys,
I have come across a silly situation ,
I passed my LIFE IN UK test last Friday...
as par my solicitor advised me to .....
and now the solicitor says that I might have to wait for 2 more years cause I had a Diffrent type of Visa .

Any way , Would My Pass Certificate still be Valid when I apply for ILR in 2011 .....?
