Hello.

My British husband and I were just married in the UK in June 2013. He is currently employed there and I live in the US with my two children until he retires in October 2013. Our plans are for him to join me here for a period and then move to the UK with my children in July 2016.

I have a few questions:

1. Is it possible for me to apply for a spouse visa so I can work as soon as we arrive? I am a professional and I have no desire to ever claim benefit.

2. How long does it take to process visas for myself and my minor children?

3. I won't have our address to include on the visa form because I don't want to put money down on a place if for some reason, we would be denied. How do I get around this?

4. Will my US income and child support be enough to document my capacity to care for myself and my children? My husband will have a pension and will also pick up a job when we arrive.

Any advice would be appreciated.
