Why don't you take the test now and get it over with. We all are assuming that test will still be valid after April and most likely it will be.

If you take one weekend to study, I am sure you will pass it before April.

This site will be updated once the new book is available for sale. According to TSO website it should be on sale 20th March.

We are not allowed to publish draft copies of the book.

I try to book test for my wife in March but because of unavailibility of the dates, they book her in April. Could she still give test on old book or have to go for new book?

Will this website still be suitable for preparing the revised Life in the UK test taking place in April?

I bought a 2004 version of the test book a week ago only to find out that the new test effective on 2nd april will be based on a new book. The test content has also been extended to include Chapter 2-6 instead of just 3 chapters appearing in this website.

When will this website be modified to take account of the changes in accordance with the new book?

The same happened to me. There was no available date before April so my test will be taking place on the 17th. Would you let us know what answer you get as I don't know either wether I have to answer questions from chapters 2 and 6.

I responsed to an earlier post on this but I think you'd be quite wise to take the first version of the test. According to this website

the new version requires you to study twice as much material.

You can take the original first version of the test until 30 June - after that time you have to take the new version. More about that on the same website
