Did you try calling the home office about your situation?  Don't know if they can help or not but they might be able to put you in the right direction to get the right answers to your questions.

i applied for my naturalisation application last month,got a letter last week asking me to confirm my full date at birth so that it can be correct on the certificate.

they sent a self addressed envelope (didnt have any stamp but with a little number 2 n the left side) i thought i didnt have to affix stamp n posted as it is.

will it reach the embassy? any case i sent another letter by special delivery but dunno whether it reached coz of the postal strike.

im going abroad in 10 days n hope to get a positive reply soon.
