Hi , you will need to consult an immigration solicitor ,but in your case it is not complicated as your child is Canadian citizen so they will treat her in UK as Commonwealth country citizen.The Commonwealth countries citizens have a right of abode in the UK. Good luck.

Can anyone please advise me? I returned to the UK after 7 years in Taiwan. My daughter who is 8 was born in Spain. Her Canadian mother got her a Canadian passport. Her mother and I (not married) seperated years ago and my daughter lives with me. My daughter entered the UK on a 6 month tourist visa. I've decided I want to remain in the UK but have been told we will need to leave the UK and apply for her resdent visa from Canada or Spain. Is there any way I could do apply in the UK? Thanks!
