Because no one replied to your message so I will try to put your mind at ease. If you have any documentation from Home office take that and any other documents like your Drivers Licence or a photo ID that is acceptable.  You should actually call the test centre for exact requirements.

Your Home office Documents should be fine too. Any corrspondence you had with home office should have a Home Office reference numbers on it.

I am not sure if Centres send test results to Home offic eor not because they always insist that you send your pass certificate with your application and if you misplace it you have to take the test again. So it is important that when you take the test your Name is spelled corretcly with Date of Birth printed correctly then I am sure Home Offic ewill accept it. My passport number was not on my test certificate only information they put on it was my full name, my current Nationality at the time, Town and Date of Birth, and Current Post Code.

hope this helps

What they require is a photo ID to identify that you are the same person who is giving the test. A UK Drivers licence is fine (even a provisional one). If you don't have a photo ID then I believe the test centre can sign on the back of your photo to certify the person taking the test.

My test is coming very soon, but my passport is currently at my native countries embassy for renewal and i won't have it in time ! :/

However i understand that home office registration photo document i got when i registered on arrival in the UK from the police station is also acceptable proof of identidy.

Will i need to provide additional photocopies of my document for the test centre to forward to the home office if i passed my test? I understand they need to sign it as well and forward to home office if not a passport.

thx you for reply
