Ask yourselves. What does "any nationality" mean?

Does "any" mean "any" or does "any" mean "some"?

Check the dictionary for the meaning of "any".

Mr Lookforward, With due respect, I want you to know that not everybody has got the opportunity to go to school. If somebody ask a question, try to answer it.  She asked because she does not know, so don't make her look stupid. You can't be a good teacher with this attitude.

I got question regarding the Form AN -SECTION 5: REFEREES & IDENTITY. One referee should be a person of any nationality who has professional standing. Does it mean that Polish citizens with professional standing midwife can be one of the referees on my application.

One referee on my application is English and signed as my friend. Is it acceptable as well?
