Hi,

I haven't gone through it yet, and have no other source of expertise. But being paranoid, I'd bring evidence of all your accounts and the certificate. If it were me.

I would have thought that as long as you have a full time job, you're making at least minimum wage which in theory is enough to live on. (In theory.) How much you actually make shouldn't be counted against you...

Good luck

Thanks very much for that. I have the application next week - and I am in the process of gathering all documents.

For anyone reading in the future - I had my application - and so long as you have a job - the financial requirements aren't too onerous. A few thousand pounds in the bank should do the trick.

That's what I had - I think they are not too concerned, so long as you have not claimed public assistance - and you have a regular income (that's more than your usual outgo for bills, mortgage etc).

Good day all - I applying for ILR under 5 years work permit SET(O) in two weeks.

What do I need to show evidence of self sufficiency? 3 months bank statements? How much would I need to have? perhaps someone who was successful can post the rough amount that they had.

I have a full time job. My savings are scattered all over the place (looking for best savings rates) - but my main bank account usually has between £1000-£2000.

I also have a government bond - that doesn't have statements - just a certificate with a maturity date in November.

Thanks for any advice.
