Hi Sergen:
Admin has also given you the correct scenario but I can list how it happened to me.
First you need to understand that Nationality has nothing to do with Passport except that you will be eligible to apply for \\passport once you are British Citizen. Therefore, you will get the decision on Nationality and not on Passport. I think you know that but just mixed the terms. I clarified so other people don't get confused.
They have changed procedure few times and I am not sure what is it now. My procedure was that they informed by post that my application has been approved and I will soon receive the invitation. I received my invitation in about a week following the decision. I was also asked to call within 14 days to arrange for my ceremony. They provided me with telephone number of my local council and I contacted them. They were able to provide me group Ceremony time after 8 days. They do group ceremony once a week(wednesday).
Applying for passport is another big task as you need to find a professional who can vouch for you and sign their name on to your application. It is more tougher then Citizenship application because any citizen not convicted of a crime can sign your application if they know you for more then three years but for Passport they must be a professional with good standing in the community.
I hope this helps.
