No. EEA citizens are among those groups who don't have to take the test.

Do you have an official link where you've seen that information? I'm trying to find something but this is the only thing I've found, no mention about the exemption...

but that link seems to be talking about 'working and living' in the UK:
"All EEA and Swiss nationals can enter and live in the UK without needing to apply for our permission."

Not about becoming British citizen anb being naturalised here. Every link I've seen so far mentions that you need to take the exam unless you're over 65, no one mentiones anything about EEA citizens.

Everyone who plans to become a British citizen, Needs to take the Life in the UK test. Even EEA citizens. I am a EEA citizen and I had to take the exam before applying for British Citizenship.

That is correct: I'm swotting for it now. Should have done this earlier 😉 But then Germany only permitted dual citizenship with another EU country late in 2007.
