Thanks for your feedback. Hope you feel
better now.

I still appreciate that there is a place where people can come and find some
valuable information.  I am sure they will be able to adjust small inconsistencies. If you feel that there is a mistake, please
list it and Admin will correct it in time. Just remember that this site is free
and no one is paying anything here or making money. You will find such mistakes also on the sites
where you have to pay.

Hi Natalia,

As Waheed kindly stated this is a free website and it is operated by its users. It is possible that there will be spelling mistakes or vague questions but it is your feedback who will help us put it right.

I've amended the questions you have mentioned and please do not hesitate to let us know if you spot any more 'mistakes'.

Regards,

E Fidan

Natalia,

You are such a rude person. Can you see the intent behind setting up this website? Ofcourse you can not. It's to help people. It's to make their life little easier in this already difficult world (thanks to people like you).

Administrators of this website, Please do not be discouraged by such comments. The best way to deal with it is to ignore them.

Thanks for your efforts.

Regards

Hardik

Natalia Hopper

it seems you do not need to appear for this test and you have already got the citizenship. Think about hundreds of people worried about taking this test. This site gives so much confidence and practice to everybody who is taking this test which is unbelievable. I was very much worried about this test , but after going through this site many a times i was so confident that i was able to finish the test in five minutes . I do not think spelling mistakes matter at all.

I would like to really congratulate Mr Fidan for his efforts and also Waheed to take so much interest and participation even after passing the test. I would like to salute them both for their time and dedication.

I am sorry but i am very much disappointed about your comments. Please excuse me if i have written anything to annoy you out of emotions.

Please correct any spelling mistakes as my mother tounge is not english

best wishes

Surendra

Personally I think we have to see negative side also and Natalia did provided the negative side with the comments. The result is a positive one and Mr. Fidan did acted promptly and fixed the problem.

Lets just hope that people do provide feed back and we can improve on the site.  I do spend lots of time on this site and visit here alot but I did not take any offence to it. I do not have access to the site else I would have fixed it earlier but I think it is better that way so we know that only one person is incharge of updating anything on the site.

Anyway, please do not be discourage and keep sending your feedback to Mr. Fidan or on the forum. Keep coming back here to help others even if you have passed the test. I enjoy helping others and I will keep coming back here to add my input.

Lastly, please do not criticise people who criticise the site as we encourage positive criticism even if it's not worded correctly.

I'm sure Natalie did not mean bad, she was just trying to point out that the content needs some improvement.

Unfortunately the time I can spend on the site is limited and most of that time is currently spent on the hosting issues. Once I can settle with a 'reliable' hosting company I will definitely double-check all content.

Please feed me with suggestions and corrections in the mean time.

Guys, I am not saying that the site is unhelpful - I can see that everybody is very committed, there is great feeling of community, and I definitely did NOT aspire to sound rude or offensive!

Nevertheless, I feel that it is extremely important that the content of such sites is proofread - especially because most people accessing it need extra help with their English, this site should provide excellent level of standard English so that not to confuse anybody; e.g. "resince" instead of "residence" would have confused me some years ago! You may not agree with me but it is my point of view...

By the way, I am not a citizen yet - passed my test yesterday. I have been in the UK for 4 years and I am teaching English and IT to English students at the moment. Believe me, they make horrible spelling mistakes all the time; but I think that we, as foreigners, are under worse scrutiny and should strive for perfection.

Hey people just to clear that i was just sharing what my friend sent me.

Natalia is right. For those who are fluent in English may make out the mistakes and yet understand like in the paragraph above. But those who are new to the language may not and could create wrong concepts that would reflect in their test attempt, which we dont want.

good luck to all

cheers!!!!!

There is such an unusual number of spelling and grammar mistakes in the test on this site! Is it the same in the test "paper" (that is test software)? an some questions are formulated very vaguely: Is Britain a part of Europe? Duh! Europe is a continent!!! or what governments signed the "Good Friday" agreement: English, Irish, Welsh or Scottish? - there is no such thing as English Government, is there?

I just needed to grumble to somebody...

You did put some thought in this message to
make your point.

If you read Natalia's explanation, I think I agree with her that new reader of
English language do get confused. With your message you made a good point but
reader must know the word to make sense of it and anyone who is not familiar
with that word will either have very hard time to understand it or will create
a new word that will not be seen in any dictionary.

Try asking a third grader to read your
e-mail and you will know what difficulty people encounter when they are trying
to read English as a new language.
