I believe it is 8 for England and Wales
and 10 for Scotland.

Public Holidays and bank Holidays are same.  basically if your Bank is closed it is a Public Holiday.

 Hi, I hope it's not too late. I think there are 4 Bank Holidays in Britain. This is the first time I'm not agree with Waheel Malik.

I fully agree that in the book it says 4 Bank holidays but officially there are 8 Bank Holidays.  My source is not just the book.

I have a question to ask.

I have done several quiz test and I'm unsure of he following.

Q how many bank holiday are there in England? 3-4-6-8-?

Q How many publick holidays are there in England?

this two seem to be the same think...

I hope that some one knows the right unwers as the librerian say 8 and If i'm not wrong the book indicates 4.....?
