i applied on the 27 /07 / 06 , got the acknowlodgement letter

on the 02/08/06 and still awaiting.i have applied on the basis of marriage

(3 years residency requirement). 

i wonder on which basis did you make your application? and which NCS center have you used?

and also has the home office sent your approval letter as registered or standard post ?

Glad to inform you that I got the letter stating my application has been successful and now I have to book my citizenship cermony

Sequence..

24th July - Passed the Exam

3rd Aug - Applied at NCS

10th Aug - Receieved Application Acknowledgement

17th Aug - Recieved Approval Letter

May be useful for some people looking for sample time scales.
