Hey everyone, am new in the forum but would like to share with fellow forum members. I came into this country in 1998 and claimed asylum.My son joined in jan 2003. I got the ILR following the Family Amnesty in Jan 2006. Someone told me that my son cannot apply for naturalization after 1 year which is Jan 2007 that he has to wait for 5 years. Last week i met a friend who has a similar case and he told me he and his son naturalized at the same time because his son was not yet 18 when he got the ILR. Anyone who can clarify for me? My son was under 18 as well.
