I have been in the UK for the last 8 year with an ILR for the last 4. Last year I had to visit my country and I had to stay there for about 6 months. If I apply for naturalisation end of Jan the total number of days that I would be out of UK in the last 12 months is 134. Will this impact my application? Should I wait and apply later. I meet all other residency requirements

They do have few exception as this rule is somewhat flexible but on the safe side, if I was in your position, I will wait till I qualify for that period. If you have a solicitor representing you I suggest use his advice.
