Hi, I am a British Citizen and I need to apply for ILR for my husband in April. His marriage visa was issued on 17th April 2005 and arrived in the UK on 11th May 2005.

What is the earliest date we can apply for ILR? We would prefer to submit our application in person so when can we start ringing up for an appointment?

I have read that you can apply within 28 days of 2 years in the UK. So is this 28 days around the date of his visa expiry or 28 days of the the date in came to the UK?
