As far as we know the test will be valid.  But most of us are giving benefits of doubt to ourselves.  Home office has not sent clear instructions yet.  They do say that test is valid for indefinite period but that instructions were for the citizenship test. I can only give you my opinion that most likely test will be valid for ILR also. Final say is of Home Office.

If you have passed the test then you should contact Home Office and ask them directly if this test is valid for ILR.  Most likely their answer will be YES because they just want to know that you can comprehend English Language. The same test will also be valid for your citizenship when it comes due. Which means you don't have to take another test.

I think that's what you are trying to ask.

Home office can also be reach via email so send them e-mail, they usually take 5-10 days to reply.

I live in the UK, for 7 months and  4 years.
Could I use this test about Indefinite Leave to Remain(permanent residence)?
I know mean,I am not yet get 5 years for citizenship.
I am necessary to Preparation  for the permanent residence right(Indefinite Leave to Remain). 

I will challenge Life in uk test in this week .

But,ILR system will change at April,and contents of the test.
Can I use this test(this week) about pass to ILR?
when I get the pass test.
