Criminal convictions are taken seriously especially now after  USA is involved in dictating UK policies. You must declare your convictions and if they were minor, home office usually ignores it.

Good Luck

Criminal convictions have always been taken seriously and that has nothing to do with the USA? Also i don't think you can without doubt say that the home office usually ignores minor offences. There are such things as clear periods

i would like to ask the question that if someone had a criminal conviction and he is going to apply for the indefinite leave to remain .what are the chances that he would be able to get it? but apart from that he has everything up to date for the case.

how home office will treat the case and what would be the consequences incase of application being rejected ?
