Hi, I am seeking advice for my wife. She will soon be applying for her visa to come and live with me in the UK. I am British born.

Does she need to take some sort of test as part of her visa application or does she need to do this once she is applying for permenant stay AFTER she has come to the UK?

I just need this clarification as I cannot understand where the test needs to be taken?

she dont need any english test cert,  she need cert only when she going to apply for indefinate leave so dont worry yet.home officer ll gave her 2 year visa for ist two year no worry after u can apply for indefinate leave then u need this cert,         gud luck

Thank you for the reply. Thats what I hoped for. She isn't very good in English at the moment but I'm sure she will get better once she is over here 🙂
