Hi,

I was very happy when i got accepted for the job and the company was applying for the work permit. The company never had any problem with work permits before. So, I decided to not do the extension from IGS to PSW which would give me one year more.

Now, the work permit got rejected. My current visa also expired and now the company are appealing against the decision. My passport is with the home office. Alas, the first appeal got rejected and now the second appeal is being undertaken.

I am assuming that I dont have much options left. Does anyone have any suggestions on this ? Is it possible to apply for the igs conversion to psw eventhough my visa expired but i have valid reasons for the same.

Thanks

Regards,
KK

You should actually go see some reputable solicitor call Asylum & Immigration Tribunal and they should be able to suggest one for you. The telephone number of the Customer Service Centre is 0845 6000 877.

If you apply and if they refuse it they will give you Right of Appeal and then you should be able to explain your side. This might work for you
