Hi Stephen , have you been living in UK during the 7 years on the basis of legal residence ? if your answer is yes , so you could apply for naturalisation as British and your application will not be affected by separation. But if you apply on basis of marriage so you must be living together as husband and wife.

I came to the Uk on visitors visa, changed over to settlement visa once married then changed over to indefinate leave to remain, this is where i am at after living here in all 7 years, am now applyomh for naturalization, i am seperated with spouse, will this affect my application?
