Raghu, you must be perfectly fine with that date. They do allow you to make an application a month before the expiry date. Good Luck!

Hi,

I have made an appointment with the home office for SET (O) application based on HSMP Judicial Review.

I have been resident in the UK as a student since 2001. I got my HSMP approval letter in Dec 2005 and then sent my passport for it be stamped. The issue date on the HSMP stamp is 16/02/2006. Since my qualification period for ILR is 4 years on the basis of HSMP Judicial Review, I booked an appointment on 18th Jan 2010.

Can anybody please let me know if I am eligible to submit my ILR application on 18th Jan 2010 (reason being somebody pointed out to me that it is 29 days before my qualification period) or is the home office pedantic about this rule.

Thanks so much

Raghu
