Hi there,

I am a Sri Lankan national, living in Netherlands with a 5 year residence permit with my wife, who is a French national. She has been working here for the past year, while I have just finished my Master's degree.
I have received a job offer from a friend of mine who has a number of retail shops in UK. He wants me to be the manager of one of the branches and he is willing to send me the necessary sponsor documents.
I understand I can either apply for a work permit or the EEA visa. I would like to know which one will be the easiest option and taking in to fact that I have a job offer, if we still need to show savings in our bank account?
