I have a few questions with relation to applying for a British passport.
I have been married with a EEA (Itailian) for more than 6 years and lived in UK for 7 1/2 years. I just left the UK and have been traveling for over 8 months now. I have been processing my divorce and now I am wondering if I can apply for a British passport as I remained in UK for more than 7 years?
If I can apply I am currently in Australia. Is there any way to apply for it while I am here or do I need to be in the UK?
Please can anyone help me as I have not applied for a Italian passport so I am only holding my own passport with my visa from my residency to remain in UK valid until October 2014. Any advice is much appreciated!!
