Not being disrespectful, but is it really a question? I must day that the dumbest of questions I come across are from my fellow countrymen.

What does 28 days calculation has to do with friday, saturday or sunday.

A date is a date. Date is independent of what day of week it happens to be. I think I learnt it when I was three years old.

I guess a bit more clarity would help explain my question.

I was querying for a friend and please ignore my earlier narration, below is the actual situation

Initial Tier 1 (General) valid from – 25th Oct 2008 (In country application, switched from Fresh Talent Scotland Scheme)

Extension Tier 1 (General) valid until – 25th Oct 2013

Appointment booked at PEO for the 27th September 2013.

Is this appointment date fine considering one must not apply more than 28 days before completing the qualifying period (25thOctober 2013)?

Or should the appointment have been booked for a date after the 27th of September 2013?

Thank you.

hi,

i have an issue with the 28 days calculation for applying for ILR.Please help.

If (for example) a work permit holder first arrived to the UK on 25th Oct 2008, which means he is completing the qualifying period on 25th Oct 2013.

If to subtract 28 days from 25th Oct 2013, it gives  27th of Sept 2013.Can a work permit holder apply on 27th of Sept 2013? Or it should be on 30th of Sept 2013(as 28th and 29th are Saturday and Sunday)  the earliest?

please help!!!!
