 I need your advice about changing my name before naturalisation.

Basically I am due for the UK naturalisation and there are some issues with my name.

In my Indian passport my parents registered my name as Y X and did not include my surname which should have been S and my actual name should have been X Y S. Probably they did not know all the issues and they are not well educated either and someone else may have filled the application on their behalf.

I want to update my name now to X Y S with S being my surname.

I would be grateful if you let me know if I need to follow any procedure for doing this?

And is it better to do it in the form AN that I am about to fill for UK Naturalisation?

Or After Naturalisation before applying for British passport?

Or After acquiring british passport?
