Would be very grateful if someone could answer my questions.

1 - How long do we have to wait before applying is it 5 years only. or 5 years and 12 months holding permanent residence?

2-  treaty rights: I would like to know if someone doing unpaid work as trainee or volunteering is exercising treatry rights too.

3- I came to live here as a student and now I'm working as a freelance but I don't earn enough to support myself. Would poor income be a reason for them to refuse my application. I came to live with my father who is a naturalised british citizen but I'm over 18.would that help them understand that even though I don't have enough money I live with someone who is established and ok?
