I am British Citizen who lived in Greece for several years with non-eu wife.
We've been married for 8 years and have a 2 year old who is also British citizen.
We moved to England using the eu route and got her an eea family pass.

The Family Pass is expiring soon and we need to take care of papers asap.

We want to know if we can switch to UK immigration rules and apply for an FLR(M) or if we have to continue on the EU road and apply for residency card.

We want to go the immigration way so as to be able to apply for citizenship quicker.

I am looking for official documentation which states if it is possible or not because after speaking to 4 different lawyers 2 of them state that we can apply for FLR(M) and the other 2 say that we can not switch to immigration rules and we have to apply for EEA2.

Please help!!!!

Thanks
