i have applied for further leave to remain (on form FLR (M)) as a unmarried partner two years ago, now i am thinking to apply for ILR using form SET(M) in June. Do know i have to pass live in the uk test before to apply ILR, my question is can i take that test in January and apply my ILR in June?

Therefore all adults who apply for settlement (indefinite leave to remain) on or after 2 April 2007 will need to demonstrate knowledge of language and of "life in the UK" in addition to meeting the usual requirements for settlement.

Yes, you can sit your test in January. There is no expiry date on pass certificates.
