Dear Nitin,

It doesn't matter when you've got your HSMP. At the time you apply for your ILR, you should have passed the Life in the UK Test, which is one of the 'must have' documents.

What i heard is , for HSMP JR people, Life in UK test is not required. I read this in HSMP fourm ltd. HSMP fourm ltd given letter to Home office to implement this. Not sure it is confirmed or not.

Thanks for your posting it is quite helpful to know the happenings,please keep me posted if you become aware that life in uk test is waived off for pre-april 2006 HSMP candidates

Hi,

Life in Uk test to be given for PR rule came in April 2007.

As per judgement on HSMP by court i can apply for my residency in 4 years i came on HSMP before April 2006,do i still need to give this test
