I am not sure if you are asking me or telling me if you were illegal.  As long as you got the ILR in 2003 and you are not applying on marriage basis then you need to spend 5 years so you should be able to apply but ask a solicitor or Hoem Office.

Your question a bit confusing as Waheed suggested, but as if you have cliamed asylum in 2001 and got (ILR) refugee status in 2003?  then you should be able to aplly bearing in mind the date and month of enterance to the UK in 2001.But if you were illegal from 2001 to 2003! how come you got ILR?

I entered uk 2001, got indefinate leave to remain december 2003. I want to apply for naturilisation was I illegal from 2001 to 2003. or can i get citizenship
