Your question is not clear. What do you mean by settlement visa? If you have leave to remain until 27th Jan 2011 and will be qualified for ILR by that time, then you have to wait and apply within 28 days before the expiry of yr last leave to remain. If you apply too early and you are refused for any reason, you may not be given a right of appeal because you will still have elave to remain at the time. So wait.

I have my settlement visa uptill 27th of January 2011 and entered in UK on 21st of November 2008. Please tell me when earliest I can apply for ILR. (Can I apply before 21st of November 2010 or have to wait till just before my visa expires in 2011)
