I applied for indefinate leave to remain in 2006 after completing 10 years as student..

didnt get it till october 2009 (as my application was late...and they kept it all this time).. when i granted the sattlement was based on my long residancy..but informed about my change of status as i got married to a british national in may 2009.

do i apply in may or october as I meet all other requirements..
