Need some urgent questions answered if possible please.

My wife and I have been married since December last year, she is from Serbia and we got married there. We have been together on and off much longer than this, probably about 15 years.

Does she NEED to take the "Life in the UK" test before she applies for a visa or can she apply to come over and do the test here, when we ask for indefinite stay?

I am British born and have no problems with the new law to do with earnings, this is covered.
